Portland Yacht Club is pleased to offer sailing lessons for adults age 21 and over.

Registrations for PYC members and parents of Junior Sailors have priority until June 30. Beginning July 1, all registrations will be processed in the order in which they were received.

Participants of all levels are welcome.

Everyone in the class sails together on a J/24 or Colgate 26 keelboat, or another adult-size boat, with the instructor on board as well. Most of the classes are taught by experienced PYC members, who are graciously volunteering their time.

This year the classes are 2 days a week for two weeks. If a class is cancelled due to weather, we will reschedule as soon as possible.

Within each of the two programs, you can select either #1 or #2. Or if you are available for both, mark one as 1st Choice and the other as 2nd Choice.

All proceeds will be reinvested into the PYC Junior Sailing program.

PROGRAM REGISTRATION — Check the class you wish to take. All programs begin at 5:30 PM and end at 8:00 PM.
Please choose only ONE 1st choice and ONE 2nd Choice.

Program slots typically fill up quickly. If the course you requested is not available, would you be interested in attending a similar class at another time during the summer?

NOTE: We are unable to pro-rate for missed classes. We hope to see you at all, or most, of the classes. The keelboats require many hands, so attendance is important for smooth sailing.

Refunds for cancelation will be given only if there is someone on the waiting list able to fill the slot.
